They were $55.00 in 1997. I'm not sure how much shipping would have been-they weigh 7lbs, but since they are a book, they could have been shipped media rate, which is slower, but not too expensive. We have the Felicity, Addy and Kirsten scenes and settings, and they are absolutely beautiful. One of the cool things about the new paper doll sets is that each one comes with a two-sided fold out scene, with artwork similar to the scenes and settings to used as a backdrop for the paper dolls. We were especially excited to see Kit's and Josefina's, since they never got their own big book. Kit's is of her attic bedroom and school classroom. Josefina's is of the outside of the hacienda, and a room inside-I can't tell which one.
